Your licence lives in your account on the website. To use it, you link this computer to that account once. No password is ever typed into the app.
Click the licence card on the start screen. On the Licence screen, click Activate this computer. The app shows a short code and opens your browser on our website.
Log in with your account. The page Connect the desktop app opens, with the code already filled in. Check that it matches the code in the app, then click Connect. The website confirms that the app is now signed in. You can close the page.
The app finishes by itself and shows Licence active. Check now asks the server for the latest status. Manage subscription and Manage devices open your dashboard. Sign out on this computer frees its place for another one.
One licence covers two computers at a time. You see them on the Devices page of your dashboard.
