The media library: where your pictures live

Every picture, background and font your books use lives in the media library. Open it with Media on the start screen.

On the left, media is sorted by kind. At the top are the things a whole book uses: backgrounds, fonts, elements to decorate pages, and artwork for the belongs to page. Under Puzzles you find the pictures that one puzzle type draws on, such as Count and Colour objects, colouring pages or spot the difference scenes.

Pictures come in sets, and sets can sit in folders. Click a folder to open it, and use the arrow to go back up. Switch between a list and picture tiles. The search box looks through the whole kind, folders and all, by name, theme or tag. Right click a set or folder to rename, open or delete it.

Some sets come in colour too. Open one, and each line drawing has its coloured version right beside it. You never choose between them here. Your book setting decides: a colour book prints the coloured pictures, a black and white book prints the line art. Colouring in puzzles always print line art.

On the right, each set has a theme, age groups and tags. A new book uses those to find the right pictures by itself. If a set has no theme or tags yet, the panel warns you, because then you would have to pick it by hand every time. Fill them in and click Save. Next, learn how to add your own artwork in Importing your own pictures.
