The right panel: Content and Text & Layout tabs
Everything about the selected page lives in the right panel. It has two tabs. Content is what is on the page. Text and layout is how it looks.
The Content tab shows the settings of the puzzle on this page. For a word search, that is the grid size, the directions, the word count and so on. Further down is the seed. It is the puzzle's recipe number. The same settings with the same seed always make the same puzzle. Click Shuffle for a fresh one.
Space around the content keeps the whole page this many points inside the margin line. Turn on Margins below the preview to see the print margins in red. They show on screen only, never in your book.
Happy with this page? Apply these settings to every puzzle of the same type. The words and seeds stay different per puzzle.
Now the Text and layout tab. Each part of the page is a slot: the title, the instructions, the puzzle, the word list. Click any part on the preview, and its controls open here.
Change the words, the font and the size. Make it bold, italic or underlined, and pick a text colour. A font picked here is for this page only. Click All pages to make it the book's font for this kind of text, on every page.
As soon as you change something, the page gets a layout of its own. Back to the book's template undoes that in one click.
