Missing vowels word puzzles

Choose Missing Vowels and click Add puzzle page.

Word count sets how many words the puzzle uses. Show vowel bank prints the missing vowels underneath, for children who need letters to choose from. A separate tick makes Y count as a vowel. Words come from a word list, with optional clues, or from Suggest words with clues.

Import file loads your own list. Adding clues to the words helps younger readers, because the clue tells them what the word is. Apply these settings to every Missing Vowels copies the word count and the vowel bank to all those pages, while each page keeps its own words. Ten words fill a page well.

Shuffle picks and orders the words again. The solutions section shows every word complete.
