Word search is the most popular puzzle in kids activity books. Here is how to make one in a minute.
Under Add a page, pick Word Search as the puzzle type and click Add puzzle page. Need more? Type a number and click Add this many. Every page gets its own puzzle.
On the right you see the settings. Grid width and grid height set the size, fifteen by fifteen by default. Word count decides how many words are hidden. Directions lets you switch horizontal, vertical, diagonal and reversed words on or off. Difficulty changes the filler letters: on hard they reuse the letters of your words, so there are more false leads.
Words come from the word list library. Pick a list and click Use this list. A list is a supply, so a long list still gives a normal puzzle. Add five more raises the count. No list yet? Suggest words in the AI card writes one on your book's theme, using AI credits.
Click Shuffle for a fresh grid with the same words. The solutions section at the back fills itself, with every word marked in the grid.
